Common Cabin Questions

About the Cabins

What amenities can guests expect in the cabin?

The design of the cabin showcases how little you need to enjoy a beautiful setting. However, the basics are in the cabin: kitchen, bathroom, and lounge area. For a full list of amenities, visit cabin info page.

Is the digital detox mandatory?

While we designed the cabin with digital detox in mind, it’s not a requirement for your stay. We provide a lockbox for devices to encourage disconnecting, but the choice is yours. Many guests find that unplugging enhances their experience, allowing them to fully immerse in nature and relax. However, we understand that everyone’s needs differ. Whether you choose to go fully off-grid or stay partially connected, we’re confident you’ll enjoy the cabin and its beautiful surroundings.

Does the cabin have modern utilities like electricity and hot water?

Yes, the cabin is on-grid. You’ll have full electricity, plumbing (with hot water), and sewage. For electricity, the outlets are type F with standard voltage of 230 V at a frequency of 50 Hz.

How secluded is the cabin’s location?

The cabin is in a private forest with no visible neighbours. You’ll feel secluded during your stay, but if a car drives by on a nearby road or a neighbour is out for a hike, you might see or hear them. The cabin is generally very quiet, nestled in the forest. While you may occasionally hear a car on a nearby road, it’s not driving by your doorstep, so no worries there!

Is there Wi-Fi or cellular service available?

No Wi-Fi – we’re focused on digital detox here. However, 5G cellular service is available so if you need a wi-fi you can bring your travel router and enjoy full 5G speed.

Are there cooking facilities in the cabin?

Yes. We’ve equipped the cabin with electric stovetop elements for your meal preparation.

Is the cabin accessible for people with disabilities?

We have a ramp for cabin access, but there’s a small 10cm ledge to navigate. Please contact us for more detailed accessibility information.

Is the water drinkable?

Yes, the water is safe and drinkable.
