Common Cabin Questions

About the Cabins

The design of the cabin showcases how little you need to enjoy a beautiful setting. However, the basics are in the cabin: kitchen, bathroom, and lounge area. For a full list of amenities, see this page.

While we designed the cabin with digital detox in mind, it’s not a requirement for your stay. We provide a lockbox for devices to encourage disconnecting, but the choice is yours. Many guests find that unplugging enhances their experience, allowing them to fully immerse in nature and relax. However, we understand that everyone’s needs differ. Whether you choose to go fully off-grid or stay partially connected, we’re confident you’ll enjoy the cabin and its beautiful surroundings.

Yes, the cabin is on-grid. You’ll have full electricity, plumbing (with hot water), and sewage. For electricity, the outlets are type F with standard voltage of 230 V at a frequency of 50 Hz.

The cabin is in a private forest with no visible neighbours. You’ll feel secluded during your stay, but if a car drives by on a nearby road or a neighbour is out for a hike, you might see or hear them. The cabin is generally very quiet, nestled in the forest. While you may occasionally hear a car on a nearby road, it’s not driving by your doorstep, so no worries there!

No Wi-Fi – we’re focused on digital detox here. However, 5G cellular service is available if needed.

Yes. We’ve equipped the cabin with electric stovetop elements for your meal preparation.

We have a ramp for cabin access, but there’s a small 10cm ledge to navigate. Please contact us for more detailed accessibility information.

Yes, the water is safe and drinkable.

We provide a beautiful wooden lockbox for your devices. While not mandatory, we strongly encourage its use to maximise your digital detox experience.

In emergencies, feel free to access your phone. Your safety is paramount, even during a digital detox.

We’re flexible with changes. For alterations made at least 30 days before arrival, you can reschedule, receive a credit voucher, or get a refund (minus a small processing fee). We aim to accommodate your needs while maintaining fair policies for all guests.

We have a 2-night minimum stay to ensure you get the full cabin experience. However, exceptions can be made for single-night stays depending on the time of year, subject to availability and an additional charge. If you’re interested in a single night, please inquire beforehand and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
