Terms & Conditions for Hop Farm Beach

Provided Service

Way Up North AB, 559375-4665, with email address info@hopfarmbeach.com (Hop Farm Beach), provides a cabin for short-term stays in Humlegårdsstrand, Hälsingland, Sweden.

Intellectual Property

Information on the website www.hopfarmbeach.com and in the cabin are provided by Hop Farm Beach. Copying, forwarding or use of pictures, text, architectural drawings or other information without Hop Farm Beach’s permission is prohibited.

Prices

Prices are indicated including MOMs in Swedish Krona (SEK). The check-out information on the website indicates the total price including all fees.

Additional Fees

A standard cleaning fee is included in the total price. Late check-out (after 11:00) may incur an additional charge of 500 SEK per hour or part thereof, subject to availability. There are no hidden fees beyond what is presented at booking.

Booking

Booking can be made through the calendar available on our website. The booking is binding for the guest and/or the guest’s representative according to these conditions and applicable law. The booking is binding for Hop Farm Beach from written confirmation provided by Hop Farm Beach (time of contract).

Payment

Payment shall be carried out by credit card or other means of payment according to instructions on the website. All payments are processed securely through our payment processor.

Security Deposit

We do not require a separate security deposit. However, the credit card used for booking will be held on file and may be charged for any damages as outlined in the “Guest Usage of the Cabin” section.

Cancellation

  1. Booking Confirmation A booking is considered confirmed upon receipt of full payment by Hop Farm Beach.
  2. Cancellation Terms Guests may cancel or modify their reservation subject to the following conditions:
    a) Cancellations made 28 days or more prior to the check-in date:
    • Full refund of the booking amount
    • Option to change dates (subject to availability)
    • Option to receive a credit voucher for the full amount paid
  3. b) Cancellations made 14-27 days prior to the check-in date:
    • One-time date change option (subject to availability)
    • Option to receive a credit voucher for the full amount paid
  4. c) Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the check-in date:
    • No refund or date changes permitted
  5. Cooling-Off Period For bookings made within 14 days of the check-in date, a 48-hour cooling-off period applies. During this time, guests may reschedule their stay at no cost or receive a full refund.
  6. Notification All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@hopfarmbeach.com or through our online booking system.
  7. Refund Timeline Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days of cancellation and will be returned to the original payment method.
  8. Travel Insurance Hop Farm Beach strongly recommends that guests purchase travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances that may necessitate cancellation, particularly for bookings made within two weeks of the stay.
  9. Exceptions In cases of acute illness or unforeseen events, Hop Farm Beach may, at its discretion, offer more flexible cancellation terms. Supporting documentation may be required.
  10. Third-Party Bookings For reservations made through third-party platforms (e.g., Airbnb), the cancellation policy stated at the time of booking on that platform shall apply.

Hop Farm Beach reserves the right to modify this cancellation policy at any time. Any changes will not affect bookings already confirmed at the time of the policy update.

Force Majeure

Hop Farm Beach shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, severe weather conditions, power outages, pandemic restrictions, government actions, or any other unforeseen events that make it impossible or unsafe to provide our services. In such cases, we will work with guests to reschedule their stay or provide a credit voucher for future use.

Check-in

Check-in instructions and key lock codes will be provided upon booking confirmation. The cabin is available for guests from 15:00 on the date of arrival.

Check-out

The cabin must be vacated no later than 11:00 on the day of check-out.

Complaint

If a guest wishes to claim imperfection in the service provided by Hop Farm Beach, they shall notify Hop Farm Beach within 24 hours of discovering the issue. We will make reasonable efforts to address valid concerns promptly.

Liability and Guest Safety

While Hop Farm Beach makes every effort to maintain a safe environment, guests stay at their own risk. Hop Farm Beach’s liability is limited to direct damages caused by gross negligence on our part and is capped at the amount paid for the booking. We are not responsible for:

  • Personal accidents or injuries occurring during the stay
  • Loss or damage to personal belongings
  • Disruptions caused by third parties or neighboring properties
  • Temporary failures of utilities or amenities

Guests are advised to lock the cabin when absent and take normal precautions to ensure their personal safety.

Guest Usage of the Cabin

During their stay, guests are required to respect the surrounding nature and take good care of the cabin and its contents. Pets are not allowed inside the cabin, and smoking is strictly prohibited within the cabin. Any violation of these policies will result in an immediate penalty charge of 2,500 SEK, which will be automatically charged to the credit card used for the original booking.

Guests are responsible for any damage due to negligence by them or their companions. In case of any damage to the cabin, its contents, or the surrounding property, guests must inform Hop Farm Beach immediately. Guests will be held financially responsible for any damages caused by them or their companions during their stay. The cost of repair or replacement will be automatically charged to the credit card used for the original booking. Hop Farm Beach reserves the right to assess and determine the appropriate cost for any damages.

Applicable Law

In case of any discrepancy, the Swedish version of these terms and conditions takes precedence over any translation. Swedish law is applicable in all matters not regulated by these terms and conditions. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement shall be submitted to the appropriate Swedish court.
