Elopements & Intimate Weddings
Some people want to get married in nature and skip the rest. That's an elopement. This is where you do it.
An elopement is a wedding with the volume turned down. Two people, a beautiful place, and a photographer. No guest list. No seating plan. No speeches. You get married and go home with the photographs to prove it.
This is Hop Farm Beach. Private land on Sweden's Baltic coast. Forest, shoreline, and a cabin that's all yours. Your photographer lives on the property, has been shooting elopements across the world since 2010, and will handle every detail of the day so you don't have to.
Every photo on this page was shot in the area.
Say your vows on the rocks with the Baltic behind you. Walk barefoot on the sand afterwards. In summer the sun stays up until midnight. Nobody else is here. That's the point.
Portraits in the trees. First look on the moss. The forest wraps around the property in every direction and the light that comes through it in the afternoon is the kind of thing you can't plan. You can only be there for it.
Get ready here. Open a bottle of something. Look out at the forest. The cabin is where the morning starts and where the evening ends. Heated floors, a sauna, and nothing on the schedule until you're ready.
No audience. No schedule.Just the two of you
No pretending.
I'm Cole Roberts. I'm originally from Canada, but love led me to Sweden. I started Nordica Photography in Vancouver in 2010 and have been along for the ride with hundreds of couples since. Big weddings aren't for everyone, and I understand that firsthand — my own wedding was an elopement.
I also founded Way Up North, a photography community that's brought thousands of photographers together since 2015, and I run elopement workshops for photographers across Europe.
When you elope at Hop Farm Beach, you're not hiring a photographer and booking a venue separately. You're getting one person who handles everything. I was an event planner before I picked up a camera. Weather, last-minute changes, things running late — I've seen it all and kept a steady hand through every one. Officiant, florist, hair and makeup — I've built those relationships over years. You tell me what you want. I put it together. You show up.
SEK 45,000 all-in

Local professionals Cole works with regularly. All arranged for you. Just tell us what you're after.
Arrive the day before, elope the next day, stay as long as you like after. Extra nights available.
Cole coordinates everything. You don't need to find anyone, book anyone, or chase anyone. One point of contact for the whole day.

Arrive the day before. Settle in. Light the sauna. Walk to the water. Sleep well.
The next morning, take your time. Everything's been arranged. The officiant, the flowers, whatever you chose. Cole will be there when you're ready. A few hours together — the ceremony, the coast, the forest, wherever the day takes you. No timeline. No guest list. You get married and the whole day is captured from start to finish.
Send your dates and we'll take it from there. Every elopement is different.
